INSPO:

With the inspiration of Tanaka's bold typography work I wanted to be able to investigate a way in which I can produce a fun and bold typography for my brand as a way of showing an alternative way of representing designs based around weddings.

I know we are used to seeing the common elegant looking fonts but to add the element of fun and free and COOKING I wanted to see if creating a different typography compared to the usual could have an impact in a positive way to show the brightness and the festive nature desi weddings hold.

As I would like to use Tanaka as my artist inspiration in this aspect I feel like it would be relevant for me to see how I can combine my culture with typography.

The first thing that comes to mind is the designs and patterns seen in henna designs and traditional South Asian clothing. By using these designs I hope on creating something that can bring out a new and fun style for my package design whether it be for the main appearance of the packages or even for the titles for the packages.
